    The conference is now in the record books. We were small in numbers but big on interest. The Owyhee Plaza proved to be a great venue that we will consider using again in the future. Our keynote speaker, attorney D. Carlos Kaslow, showed a great presentation on legal aspects of our industry and answered many questions from our members.

    Mike Scanlon, President and CEO of the Self Storage Association spoke to the members during the afternoon session, and gave us insight into the state of our industry. Statistics, trends, and an outlook for the future were talked about. Very informative.

    Ben Riehm, representing Janus International, a door supplier, spoke to the members right before lunch on Saturday. He showed several ways to add value to our buildings and doors, as well as ways to convert our spaces to accomadate size demands.

    Dan Harrington of NXGEN Electronic Payment Services was our final speaker of the day. His information about credit card PCI compliance and credit card data protection will prove invaluable to the members attending.
